CJUS 212 is designed to provide familiarization with the specific applications, trends, and policies associated with law enforcement in the United States. Generally, the course will explore the qualifications, training, and traditions of line activities in law enforcement agencies with an emphasis on the patrol function and the prevention of crime, including traffic, investigatory, juvenile, vice, and other specialized operational units.
