Career Planning

A guide to assist you with Career Planning.

Career Planning

Bay College offers a wide range of career services to our students on both campuses. Career decision making can often be a complex task. Many things need to be taken into consideration, including an individual’s interests, personality, values, strengths, and decision-making processes.  Bay College has tools in place to guide an individual through this process.

The Career/Academic Advisor can administer and interpret career tools, which include abilities tests, values assessments, and interest inventories. We encourage exploratory activities and workshops to aid students in career and life decisions, assist in occupational searches, resume writing, and cover letter skill building.

The Career Resource Room on the Escanaba Campus is located in room 516 within Student Services. Career Resource material can be obtained at the front desk area at the West Campus.  Both areas house career information books, job outlooks, and employment opportunities. College catalogs from both Michigan and Wisconsin colleges are also available for those planning to transfer to a four-year institution. We encourage you to take the time to check out these valuable resources.

Contact the Career Advisor for more information about services or to set up an appointment.
